Here's a list of things that happened in my life in the month of June...
3 Highlights:
School's out and senior graduation!
Choir camp (not exactly sure if that's a /highlight/...)
Nights out with friends
I was still in school the first week of June, so we had finals (or "finals". Perk of AP classes is that the teachers usually don't give real finals because we've already finished the big test a few weeks before.) We had all sorts of events that last week---senior signing day, a talent show I skipped for a doctors' appointment, a yearbook signing party that got rained out so we forced everyone into the halls on the first floor... We had early dismissal on Thursday, so a group of my friends and I walked downtown to our favorite taco restaurant for lunch.
Then that Sunday was graduation and seniors' parties. Our choir sang at graduation. We did so well until the last few lines, then we weren't singing; we were just crying on stage. My favorite middle school teacher/mentoring group leader came back to celebrate, so I got to speak to her in person for a while, amidst all the craziness.
After a fun family gathering with one graduated friend, and a pool and karaoke party with another, 2 of my lovely friends and I went to a midnight breakfast for dinner at one of my city's oldest restaurants then came back to my place for a sleepover that consisted of us staying up until 5 am.

The next week was mostly resting and really starting my driving practice. I finished the online class a while ago, but never found time for the in-car lessons. Friday was a fun night out for a mini music festival in the downtown area with short films and snow cones.

The second week of June consisted of intense choir camp. I like choir, don't get me wrong. I love singing and learning new music. But those people were /passionate/. I don't get it. They were so enthused about century old music. It was too much. I texted my choir director mid-day on day 1 asking if I had to come back. He took me out and laughed as I struggled to not offend bystanders as I tried to explain that I would never be as passionate about music as those 60 other people in my group. Long story short, I left early the next two days and stayed for the performance the last.

The next week, I worked on website things, worked a day for a Father's Day camp, and went to a Barnes and Noble event. My two best friends and I went to an art event at a local museum (you can see a picture or two on my Instagram).
The final week of June was packed with working Chocolate Camp! (So much sugar. So much delicious.) I've been working a lot on story writing recently, which makes me very happy. And I'm ready for resting in July! Holidays and work days and maybe some birthday celebrations with friends. We'll see what's in store!
(Note: I don't know why the fonts are different. I tried to fix it thirty thousand times, but it keeps doing whatever it wants. "Style"...)
